Description
Has “B” Screw-in Fittings on Welder End and Splice Fitting on Cylinder Regulator End That Model Fit Many US Made Welders and Most Non US Made Cylinder Regulators.
A Splice Fitting, has a hose barb on that hose end. It fits any welder and is simply spliced into a section of existing hose by cutting the existing hose about two inches from the existing fitting.
“B” Fittings for inert gas fittings are of a unique metal to metal seat design using a two piece design with straight NOT pipe threads. An excellent gas seal is made by tightening the matting brass surfaces. Don’t Use Teflon Tape.
CAUTION Some Cylinder Regulator-Flow Controls have similar looking thread fitting as two piece “B” like some Hobart and Miller 211 MIG welders and some made over-seas! Those threads look similar but are tapered pipe fittings, NOT straight threads like “B” fittings. The hose barb and threads are one piece NOT two. A SPLICE FIT-TING MUST BE USED IF THIS TYPE OF FITTING IS FOUND ON YOUR REGULATOR. NOTE: You are always safe ordering Splice Fittings on both ends as these will work with any existing hoses!
